Jan Žižka (c. 1360–1424) was a Czech military commander and one of the most important leaders of the Hussite movement following the execution of religious reformer Jan Hus.

Žižka became famous during the Hussite Wars, where his forces successfully resisted much larger armies sent against them. He is particularly associated with innovative battlefield tactics and the use of fortified war wagons, firearms and artillery alongside traditional medieval weapons.

Remarkably, Žižka continued commanding armies after becoming completely blind. He is traditionally remembered as an undefeated commander, making him one of the most extraordinary military figures of the late Middle Ages.

A distinctive collectible for fans of Jan Žižka, the Hussite Wars, Czech history, medieval warfare, military commanders and European history.
