Nero (AD 37–68) ruled as Roman emperor from AD 54 to 68 and remains one of the most infamous figures of the ancient world. His reign became associated with extravagant imperial projects, political turmoil, persecution and the Great Fire of Rome in AD 64, although historians continue to debate many of the sensational stories written about him after his death.
An impressive centrepiece for collectors of Ancient Rome, Roman emperors, classical history, Roman mythology and historical figures.
