Leonidas I was the king of Sparta who became one of antiquity's most famous warriors through his leadership at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. Leonidas and his force held the narrow pass against the much larger Persian army of Xerxes I before being overwhelmed.

His last stand became an enduring symbol of courage, sacrifice and defiance against overwhelming odds.

A striking centrepiece for collectors of Ancient Greece, Sparta, military history, legendary warriors and historical figures.
