Born around 1412, Jeanne d’Arc became one of the most famous figures of the Hundred Years’ War. Claiming divine guidance, the young French heroine played an extraordinary role in the campaign that helped lead to the coronation of Charles VII at Reims.

After being captured, Jeanne was handed over to the English and placed on trial at Rouen. She was condemned and executed at the stake on 30 May 1431, when she was approximately nineteen years old.

Her conviction was later overturned during a rehabilitation trial, and centuries later she was canonised as a saint in 1920.

These three designs allow collectors to represent very different parts of Jeanne's story: the warrior, the prisoner and the martyr.
